Spectacle for Week 30

Waiting for a long time, finally Barclays Premier League is back. For the past struggle European match, the feeling is mixed. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City all crashed out due to poor displays, lack of interest and creativity or just bad luck and colored cards; while Chelsea and Tottenham moved on with goalless draws while Manchester United came through a huge scare against Marseille. This let those EPL teams from the bottom half of the table(who had much time to rest)shows their qualities and taking advantages:

Real Advantage
  • Tottenham - Maybe they will feel tired that they have played against AC Milan few days ago but that is out of the question. Although Hotspurs unable to score against Milan at home game, but their colourful offensive system plus on Van Der Vaart and Bale both back make Hotspurs have a high probability to win this derby.
  • Aston Villa - Cause of Wolves terrible away game record, this game should be a straight win for Villa especially with their recent revival.
  • Blackburn - The situation is much to choose between the two teams; Blackburn has lost four and won none of their last five Premier League matches while Blackpool have only won one of their last nine Premier League matches. Because of they are the home team, I can feel that they will usher in the revival of the game moments.
False Hope
  • Manchester United - hardly to imagine that ManYoo' defence without Rio and Vidic. If this game was not play at Old Trafford i would expect a Bolton win, but you will never know with both Nani and Valencia back to the team.
  • Arsenal - The Gunners are coming back from a bad European experience, their morale is not at its heights at the moment and to top things up they're missing half of their team through injuries. I'm not saying they will lose the game, but it's hard to imagine an easy win.
  • Liverpool - Fantasy Managers will be affected by the fact that Liverpool beat Manchester United last gameweek but I wouldn't go that way. The reds are by far the most unreliable and unpredictable team this season. After all they beat Man Utd and Chelsea but lost to Wolves and West Ham in between!
Forwards:
  • Suarez - since he cames, his performance was a shock whether at home or away matches. If he able to play at Europa League, goalless draw was not the final result for the match. Average points as high as 12, what else can you consider?
  • Van Persie - after get sent off at Europe stage, he's now looking for prey like a wolf. Penalty and free kick duty surely is take by him. For me, that's enough.
  • Bent - Do you still doubt he'll score it against bottom team? Take him now.
  • Biram Diouf - looked really good last game, and remember he's playing Blackpool
  • Defoe - He's back to the form and scored twice at last Premier League match, but he has to compete with Crouch and Pavlyuchenko.
  • Rooney/Chicharito - both of them are in the hot state now and maybe their next goal will come from home games. But need to mention that without SAF managing at side maybe will affect their performance.
Midfielders:
  • Van Der Vaart - the top scorer of the team is back. It's very hard make you say 'no' about it.
  • Young/Downing - the Duo will surely have another great week against a leaky back line.
  • Nani/Valencia - Nani will always return good rewards in home matches but remember that he'll be switched back to the left side if Valencia starts.
  • Adam - the Blackpool' captain is back and I'm surely he should be hungry for action.
  • Pedersen/Hoilett - no doubt both of their performance at home ground. But need to take risk cause Steve Kean likes rotation.
  • Hitzlsperger - since he's recover, his performance was pretty and his price was solid. If you not barely, can think about him.
Defenders:
  • Bale - if he's fit, he will definitely be the pick of the week and your premium defender.
  • Kyle Walker - my favourite player since he's been loan to Villa. Cheap ticket to the Aston Villa defense, very interesting attacking defender as well.
  • Kolarov - If David Luiz starts at right side, I think Citeh will given a lot of free kicks at the left side and Kolarov' performance will be a crucial for away teams.
  • Coleman - no doubt of his performance at Goodison Park. But need to mention that last 2 games he's not at the starting line-up. If want, take a risk on him at 10.61.
  • Nelsen - he's back from suspension and he always can score at home game. Take him when he's cheap.
  • Alcaraz - although he's a bit expensive but no doubt his performance at home. At least his taking card risk not high like his central back partner Gary Caldwell.
Goalkeepers:
  • Gomes - his price was drop until 8.30. A better match-up but a bit more expensive as well.
  • Almunia - If you still believe Arsenal's defense, take a risk on him but will be doubtful after Wenger resign former Arsenal' no.1 Lehmann.
  • Friedel - goalkeepers with 3.50 market price, home match against Wolves, how can you ignore that? It's makes a lot of sense especially with his price tag.
  • Begovic - his price now was pretty solid and his home performance was nicely. Not much doubt of him.
