- Abou Diaby will starts his suspension from this game cause of booked by red cards against Newcastle United.
- Denilson and Alexandre Song maybe in contention while Robin Van Persie and captain Cesc Fabregas have recovered from sickness.
- Czech Republic captain Tomas Rosicky will miss the Premier League game after picking up a groin injury playing for national team in midweek and Samir Nasri having hamstring injury. Both of them will also miss knockout stage against Barcelona.
Man. City
- Nigel De Jong is still a doubt with an ankle injury.
- Mario Balotelli is return to the squad after being sidelined for a month with a knee injury.
Chelsea
- New signings David Luiz maybe will have starts with John Terry at CB and Branislav Ivanovic will move to Right Back.
Liverpool
- Kelly is fit from an ankle injury.
- Martin Skrtel is a doubt with a thigh problem which prevented him playing for Slovakia in midweek.
- Jonjo Shelvey is out for 12 weeks with a knee injury.
- Joe Cole will be probably on the sideline again which he's having a knee problem.
- Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish will make a late decision on captain Steven Gerrard availability after he is missed the friendly match between England vs Denmark with a groin problem.
Tottenham Hotspur
- Tottenham Hotspur will be without three key midfield players- Rafael Van Der Vaart, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale that VDV failed to recover from a calf injury. Luka Modric has only recently had his appendix removed while Gareth Bale has been troubled by a back complaint.
- Long-term injury Jonathan Woodgate is back to the squad after coming through a training match in midweek without any problems.
Everton
- Louis Saha is having a hamstring injury and Jack Rodwell also having groin problem sustained on England U21 duty.
Birmingham City
- Birmingham newcomer Obafemi Martins is included in the squad for the first time after the Nigerian obtained a visa last week.
- Ben Foster has recovered from thumb injury which prevented him being involved in England's midweek game against Denmark.
Stoke City
- Mamady Sidibe suffered another injury setback ahead of the trip to St' Andrews and looks set for an extended spells on the sidelines.
- Ricardo Fuller is back after compassionate leave and will be battling for a place in attack alongside Kenwyne Jones, Jon Walters and John Carew.
Blackburn Rovers
- Paraguaian Roque Santa Cruz is return to the squad after having a groin injury before and defender Gael Givet is still not fit that he's now having a groin problem.
